The National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan), established under Presidential Decree No. 181 of 1998 and updated by Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2024, stands as the vanguard in fostering an environment conducive to the eradication of violence against women and the advancement of human rights. ## Career Opportunity: Assistant Coordinator for Legal Reform and Policy
The Division of Legal Reform and Policy serves as the backbone of our institutional efforts, managing the entire lifecycle of program planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. We are currently recruiting for two key Assistant Coordinator positions to strengthen our national and regional advocacy efforts.
1. Assistant Coordinator (National Level)

This role is integral to the development of rigorous policy analysis and legislative advocacy at the national level. You will play a crucial role in:
* Assisting the Division Coordinator in evaluating national-level legislation.
* Conducting quantitative and qualitative human rights impact assessments.
* Facilitating constructive dialogue with national legislative and executive bodies.
* Mapping key stakeholders and managing advocacy communications.
2. Assistant Coordinator (Regional Level)

Focusing on the regional landscape, this role involves the development of policy recommendations tailored to the specific needs of local governance and regional legislative reform. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the drafting and evaluation of regional regulations (Perda).
* Executing advocacy strategies with regional government and civil society stakeholders.
* Preparing comprehensive work plans, budget proposals, and activity reports.
* Managing field-based advocacy efforts and emergency response coordination.
## Essential Qualifications for Applicants

* Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1), preferably in Law or Social Sciences.
* Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

* Advocacy Skills: Proven track record in lobbying, stakeholder mapping, and building partnerships with legislative, executive, and judicial bodies.
