PT Medco Power Indonesia is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their technical team as a Field Operator. This role is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable generation of power across their facilities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of plant operations. Your core duties will include:
* Operational Oversight: Managing plant operations during routine and emergency scenarios to ensure maximum performance.
* Collaborative Control: Working closely with the Unit Controller to monitor daily activities and provide on-site supervision outside the main control room.
* Incident Response: Acting immediately upon a unit trip or receiving instructions from senior leadership to assist in incident handling and status monitoring.
* System Start-up Support: Assisting the Unit Controller during planned start-up procedures, prioritizing urgent technical requirements.
* Local Control Management: Operating plant equipment from the local control room under the direction of the Central Control Room.
* Reporting and Compliance: Submitting accurate daily operational reports and conducting rigorous field inspections to ensure that on-site conditions match the digital system readings.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this position, applicants must meet the following professional criteria:
1. Educational Background: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) degree.
2. Professional Experience: At least one year of hands-on experience as an operator within a power plant, heavy equipment, or utility operations environment.
3. Technical Proficiency:
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, with a preference for experience in high-voltage environments.
* A solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals, including hydraulics, bearings, and rotating equipment.
