## Job Opening: Operation Staff (Shipping Agency)
BULL is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join the team as an Operation Staff (Shipping Agency). Based in the strategic maritime hub of Tanjung Priok, this role is essential in ensuring seamless vessel operations, port coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Key Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any major, with a strong preference given to graduates from recognized maritime schools.
* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, or those with up to 2 years of professional experience in the shipping sector.
* Demonstrate professional fluency in English, encompassing both verbal and written communication.
* Possess essential technical knowledge and skills, including a solid understanding of shipping procedures, customs protocols, export and import regulations, agency management, and general computer literacy.
Core Responsibilities
As an Operation Staff specializing in shipping agency, your daily duties will be pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities include:
* Planning comprehensive operational arrangements for assigned vessel calls, strictly aligning with vessel schedules and specific operational requirements.
* Tracking and monitoring vessel movements and on-site operational activities continuously, starting from the pre-arrival stage all the way through to final sailing.
* Overseeing the successful completion of all required operational arrangements and proactively following up with relevant stakeholders.
* Managing incoming vessel appointments, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) details, and operational instructions received from principals or general agents.
* Collaborating and coordinating vital vessel information and documentation with principals, customers, and other associated parties.
* Arranging official vessel arrival notifications and securing optimal berthing schedules with relevant port authorities.
* Organizing necessary third-party marine services, including pilots, tugboats, mooring gangs, and other vessel-support services.
* Preparing and promptly submitting mandatory pre-arrival documentation to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
* Handling vessel in-clearance procedures smoothly in coordination with CIQP (Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, and Port Health), port authorities, independent surveyors, and related entities.
* Supervising vessel loading and discharging operations while maintaining seamless communication with all involved parties.
