## Role Overview: Junior Mine Geologist
PT Archi Indonesia Tbk is currently inviting applications for the position of Junior Mine Geologist. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of mining productivity and geological accuracy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in site-based operations, ensuring that all extraction activities are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency.
## Core Responsibilities
The Junior Mine Geologist will be tasked with integrating safety protocols into daily geological workflows while overseeing production quality. Key duties include:
* Safety Leadership: Uphold stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, participate in monthly safety meetings, and ensure strict compliance with isolation/tag-out procedures, safe work permits, and JSEA protocols.
* Operational Oversight: Manage grade control drilling programs, blast hole monitoring, and rigorous QA/QC protocols for sampling and assaying.
* Geological Mapping: Conduct pit mapping during ore spotting activities and the initiation of new drilling campaigns.
* Production Management: Coordinate daily with production teams to meet output targets and perform weekly drilling and ore inspection reviews to minimize dilution.
* Database Support: Assist the Database Geologist in managing daily operational data, including drilling records, production metrics, and Fleet Management System (FMS) inputs.
* Incident Management: Facilitate high-standard incident investigations and identify necessary safety training requirements for the team.
## Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and a strong commitment to safe mining practices. The required criteria include:
* Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Geological Engineering from an accredited university.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in mining geology, with specific expertise in grade control and mine operations.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and competency in 3D geological modeling software, such as Surpac or similar platforms.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
* Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities, high attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of QA/QC sampling and assaying processes.
* Operational Readiness: Willingness to work in a site-based environment under a roster/rotation system.
* Certifications: Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM A/B) and a "Pengawas Operasional Pertama" (POP) certification will be considered a significant advantage.
